I grind small amounts in a coffee grinder and either put some in fresh vegetable juice or sprinkle on food. Tastes really nice. I wouldn't heat them much because it would damage the omega 3 oil. It works as part of a healthy diet. You are getting the anti-inflammatory omega 3 and the soluble and insoluable fibre as well as other nutrients like magnesium. Why would it feed candida? theres no reason it would
