Re: How bad are hot tubs?

I have an ecosmarte system in my pool & entire home water. This is a copper ionization system. Instead of using chlorine, bromine or the likes of salt generated chlorine, it uses copper to sanitize and kill bacteria/ viruses. The copper in the water is between 0.4-0.7ppm. The EPA has a 1.35ppm max on our drinking water, so it's more than safe.It also has platinum/ titanium plates that keeps the water crisp & helps oxidize the water. I have 2 friends that have this system in their spas and it works well but you have to stay on top of the filter cleaning and be diligent with the regular maintenance of the spa. Let me know if you have more questions.
