Re: Sassafras and Poison Ivy - irony of nature

BTW, texcen, Plantain was one of Christopher's favorites for general purpose remedy of infections and blood poisoning, using a very simple and basic poultice: dig up some Plantain (common somewhere near most yards/lawns), break a few of the leaves & roots, moisten, apply to affected area, wrap, then wait a while for the amazing effects to happen, with healing results usually occuring within 24 hours.

On an aside, does anyone know the best method for using Rhu Tox? Some people suggest taking a few tablets once a week, on a regular basis, to help build immunity BEFORE exposure to poison ivy/oak. Other people suggest taking a daily dosage for the same purpose (boosting immunity BEFORE exposure). And, what is the deal with 2X, 4X, 6X? I mean, yeah, this obviously has to do with he potency of the Rhu Tox, which is iteslf a tiny pill dosage that is made out of the same offending substance in ivy/oak, but why would I use any particular X value? If the proper immunity dosage calls for X number of 6X tablets, can I substitute by taking a larger qauantity of 2X or 4X pills? And, sometimes it may turn out that avoiding a rash by building up immunity BEFORE does not do the job IE> if I wake up one day and find I have a rash of ivy/oak, how does the useage/dosage of Rhu Tox differ? (assuming it does differ from the avoidance doseage)
