Lysine for children, how much?

How much lysine is efficient for a 6 year old child? My daughter is getting cold sores every month. Its so hard for kids not to touch these and spread them. I want to give her Lysine but need to know the proper dosage amount. 6 1/2 years old and 45 lbs
