I haven't suffered from herpes labialis ever in my life, but I had a lymphoma a few years ago and suffered from a strange incidence of 3 month long pneumonia a while back which both might have been caused by a herpes virus as I found out.
Now I'm using Virgin Coconut Oil for about two months now and it helps me a lot. I finally cured my constipation. But ever since I take it I have herpes labialis in the corner's of my mouth and in my nose. I wonder if this is a good thing and some kind of reactivation as coconut oil is known to have antiviral properties and fight herpes virae.
Does anyone of you know if herpes reactivation is possible during treatment? Is there any research on the reasons for this?
