Re: Breuss Cure Experience
Hello there,
The Breuss cure has worked for many cancer patients, but it is in my opinion far from ideal. Why does it work for some, mainly not very advanced cancer cases? Because the fasting can be beneficial. When you fast, the body redirects all his energy and enzymes towards repairing what's wrong, rather than digesting. Also, the Breuss juice composition supports the elimination organs, mainly the liver and the kidneys. Beet, carrot and black radish for liver,
Celery for kidneys. In all cancer patients, those organs are usually compromised to some degree.
Why is it in my opinion a weak cancer treatment? First because they recommend a very low amount of juice. Of course you shouldn't abuse of beet juice, as it is probably the most powerful detoxifying juice, and you could end up worse by overconsuming it, but you will very likely need more vitamins, enzymes and minerals supplied by an abundance of fresh juices in order to heal from an advanced cancer. Second, very little is done to cleanse the bowels on this therapy, and this is crucial in most cancer patients. Drinking juices only is very unlikely to change the balance of your gut flora, which is usually unbalanced in favor of pathogens in cancer patients. And when you cleanse your liver, which the Breuss juice does, you need to make sure that toxic bile is not reabsorbed on his way out, or you could cause more harm than good.
So for me, the Breuss cure is a good start, but that's all. A close to perfect protocol would be in my opinion combining Dr Schulze Incurables Program while juice fasting on vegetable juices only, and adding Dr Gerson coffee enemas.
