Re: Creature Feature: Mite

After looking through my pics and comparing those of the Bark Beetle with this pic of a mite, I will retract the statement that the above species is a Beetle, as it is not a beetle.
My mistake, but I do have some pics to put together that will shed some light on the mite issue.
Bug ID is difficult at best, especially with only one pic of this mite. Are there any more mite pics out there for comparative purposes?

Bark Beetles have been found in my skin and body, along with the mite that rides on them and which farms their fungus for them.
