Good question. I really have no idea. It might be best to use another form of control for a few months to be very sure you don't conceive right away. The IUD can cause some severe hormonal imbalances. Not a good way to start a pregnancy even if you did want to conceive right away (which you said you don't, of course). Maybe use condoms for a couple weeks before you try to remove it to be really sure? I'm sure someone else can give you a better answer than this :)

At any rate, I'm glad to hear you are having it out. What issues are you having?
