Re: Bladder infection

Over time, I have gathered some recommendations from posters... unfortunately did´nt copy the URL. They were mostly from CZ tho.

Here are most of the home remedies given for bladder infection:

If the infection is really a bladder infection, then the following may help:

-boil fresh italian parsley with water for 5 minutes. Simmer for 20 minutes. Drink this as often as possible. This is the best treatment for bladder infection. I had many bladder infections in the past, and this helped me much more than the Antibiotic prescriptions. Indeed Antibiotics just made my problem worse..

In addition, she should drink lots of water, and occasionally she might add a dash of baking soda to water and drink it. This decreases the acidity of the urine, and hence the burning may be alleviated.

Hmmm... urinary frequency ALL of your life? Interesting! that could mean you are shaped physically so that it's very easy for the urethra to get irritated. If that's the case, then the best thing is to only wear cotton panties (or no panties at all), no panty hose, tampons only during the day, kotex pads at night.

Most cases of urinary frequence are due to dehydration - acid urine cannot be stored as long, it irritates the bladder and helps the baddies to breed. So drinking more water will actually result in fewer trips to the bathroom.

It's also due to low magnesium. Without magnesium, the bladder cannot relax, and so needs to empty frequently.

It can be due to a lack of skin food. Bladders are extremely sensitive skin, rather like the skin around our eyes. They need lots of loving care: vitamin C, E, A, zinc and essential fatty acids. cod liver oil and EmergenC will go a long way to making all of your tissues healthy, strong, and flexible.

It's a good idea to flush the urinary system to ensure that the frequency is not caused by infection or stones. Unsweetened cranberry juice spiked with Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar is a wonderful flush. About 5 days of 1-3 glasses a day will take care of most infections. If there's any pain or irritation, you can use a combination of marshmallow, uva ursi and comfrey to take care of that.

It's also a good idea to maintain healthy levels of friendly microbes. Kefir and yogurt should be a regular part of your diet.

All of these things will go a long way to preventing more cases of cancer too! :)

When I had a bladder infection during pregnancy that totally resisted Antibiotics , my midwife put me on an herbal formula that cleared it overnight, never to return. I later recommended it to parents of a little girl who couldn't get over her bladder infection after many bubble baths at an aunt's house. It cured her overnight, too, and the parents were delighted. In one gallon of water you steep 1 box (Sorry, I don't know it in ounces. Used Alvita brand at the time) juniper berries and 1 box hyssop. The entire thing must be drunk in 24 hours. To correct the damage caused by the Antibiotics , the only thing that's ever worked for me is Nature's Biotics soil organism capsules.

Hope one of these recommendations work !!
