Re: How to eliminate the elderly smell (unsaturated aldehyde)

Our skin is one of our biggest organs of elimination, the colon is the other, our lungs is the third. If we have too many toxins, the body becomes backlogged and so loses ability to "clean house". When this occurs, our bodies smell, our gas and feces smell more, and our breath smells. As we age, this builds up and gets worse.
I have not done much research on nonenal, but I bet that this is something that could be resolved with a mixture of gentle salt scrubs, salt baths, and aromatherapy. Salt helps to pull toxins from the tissues of the body, are mildly exfoliating, and help to give our bodies nutrients that help elimination. You can absorb minerals and oils as well as through ingesting them.

Salt scrub- get extra fine grain Sea Salt (it must be Sea Salt ). Put a half cup of this salt into a bowl, pour half cup of sesame or warmed coconut oil (these are cleansing oils that are also nourishing to our skin) over the salt and mix together. It should make a paste, there should not be more oil on top of the salt. Before showering, lightly scrub this salt oil mix over the skin of the entire body, except the hair. Using circulare patterns, skin will turn reddish, but should not become irritated. If scrubbing is too uncomfortable, then just let it sit on the skin for 3 mintues. Rinse off afterward, before skin feels dried out or itchy. Do this every other day for 2 weeks and you should notice a difference.
An alternative to the salt scrub (because our elders skin can be so fragile) is to take a salt bath. Draw a bath, add a half cup of Epsom Salts or the Sea Salt mentioned above and then soak in it for 20 minutes. Do this everyday.
There are also essential oils which are known for their abilty to cut through other oils, waxes, and smells- these are specificially the citrus oils such as orange, lemon, mandarin, etc. Tea tree essential oil, lavender essential oil, or rosemary essential oil can added to the laundry also will benefit the situation.

Breathing deeply will help as well, getting a little bit of mild exercise each day tends to decrease this problem, because as we exercise, we pump oxygen throughout our body, helping our lungs to eliminate waste from the body.
