Interesting study...doesn't surprise me, as a popular horse hoof spray that is renowned for working extremely well to treat foot fungus, contains G Violet.
It still seems to be a common remedy for oral thrush in babies, (even in cases where Nystatin didn't work at all) which considering the absorbent nature of the mouth, is akin to using it internally.
