Does the inner child ever leave

Hi Guys,

I am on another post here Nutritional Balanicing for Adrenal Fatigue. ANd I mentioned that my inner child left after many years of being on a shelf. I feel it left because i delt with my issues as a child. Can the inner child leave us?

I said to my hubby a few weeks back that I never felt so free in my life. 48 years old.
