Re: Prescription anti fungal drugs

Well I've never read antyhing about candida adapting to an antifungal instantly. But I've read that if you use the same antifungal for a long stretch of time candida has time to adapt and become immune to it.

What are your thoughts on Lentinan and Polysaccharide-K?

Polysaccharide-K and lentinan are really good for the immune system and they are used to treat cancer.

Could they also be helpful in treating candida?

I have two worries, one being that they are mushrooms - can they therefor make candida worse?

The secong concern I have is that perhaps they could harm the beneficial flora in the gut? (Like for example B-subtilis and other SBO:s that are fungibased).

Let me know what you think.
