Anyone have any thoughts on Diflucan for candida?

A lyme disease specialist prescribed 100 MG of Fluconazole (Diflucan) for candida. Just wondering if anyone's used it before or knows how it works?

Is it true it's hard in your liver? Can it work to rid people of candida to take it once a day along with a diet that cuts out Sugar and gluten, etc...
