Hi,
My daughter has celiac disease and has been gluten free for her entire short life. I nursed her and made organic babyfood or her fresh every day. She eats a wonderful diet (she's 5 years old). However, when I stopped nursing her, she started drinking cow's milk. She immediately broke out into a rash with bumps on her upper arms. Of course her pediatrician said it was just dry skin and to continue with the milk. I stopped... However, the bumps would fade a bit and then come back over and over again. As she got a bit older, I noticed that her tongue looks like a strawberry. It has tons of red dots all over it. This never goes away! I know that there is something going on with her body - that she is allergic to something besides gluten and milk. I have no idea what it could be though. I have taken her to a TCM doctor and she was immediately diagnosed as having too much heat and "probably" having a lactose allergy. I've pulled her of of milk and milk products, but still no change. Would love to hear any ideas, or from anyone who has had a similar experience? Thanks!
