severe neck, lymph node pain and swelling

I am going to start my 2nd Master-Cleanse in a few days. My last cleanse I finished 10 days and wanted (felt I needed to go longer) but stopped due to strong neck pain that began on day 4 and remained until day 10. I actually felt a lump of swelling under my left ear and discovered that massaging it would give temporary relief. Initially, I thought it's just deriving and will go away but it persisted and would radiate from the left side to the right, to both sides. I have had periodic sinus infections most of my adult life. A week after finishing the cleanse I had a severe sinus infection. I guess my question is, has anyone experienced this? What could it be? Is it normal to have strong detox symptoms for 6 days? I want to try this again but I am nervous that I will have this pain again and afraid it won't clear. One note is I ate very unhealthy before the 1st cleanse. After I have eliminated caffeine, alcohol, processed foods, red meat and am eating at least 50% raw veggies each day. Tweet
