Re: CDC: Flukes very rare in US, but easily treated

I'm continually amazed at the number of people who, by self diagnosis, are absolutely sure they have flukes. No matter what Hulda says, the statistics reveal that infection with flukes is extremely rare in the USA. Diagnosis is very easy as flukes produce thousands and thousands of eggs daily. They can be identified in a medical laboratory microspcopically on properly stained slides prepared from stool specimens. Tweet
