Hmmm, funny thing is that I showed that they could recover after a period. Perhaps Beck did not observe for a long enough period of time? Perhaps he had completely killed them already rather than stopping to see what would happen if they were not completely killed?
Perhaps, it may have been because I tried with water borne organisms which may have been stronger and more resistant?
I can not provide the reason but I can definitely state that a organism that is not completely killed can and sometime does recover after incomplete zapping. This is one reason that some people may get recurrent die-off.
