yes it's a lot LESS BITTER! The Egyptian oil is STRONG, but it's not BITTER in my opinion. And, a merchant buddy of my husbands sells to a LARGE Somali population here in the US, and he says they refuse to buy any other brand, but the Egyptian, as its taste is more palatable and they find it to be more potent in its effectiveness. Again, preferences. You may try some other brand, and find you like it better.
