Hey guys! I'm on day 12 of water fasting and just want to know if anyone else has my detox symptoms? :)

Hey Everyone!

As the title reads, I'm on day 12 of my Water Fast with great progress so far! (I've lost 18 lbs as of today - its been consistently 2 lbs a day for 5 days now:) ) It's even got to the point that my father and bestie want to copy me and try it - it just stinks to warn them how hard the first four days are and how most people can't get past the first few days. I feel like a debbie downer! I just don't want them to feel like failures.

Anyhoo - to the questions! Like many people report my skin is clearly clearing up and my nails are getting much stronger. I am a bit emotional at sad stories and movies, its like watching the Notebook when you're pms-ing LOL. Nothing out of control, no weird mood swings or whatever. I was lucky to have no headaches throughout the process. I think I've hit the second phase cuz I was a bit nauseous this morning and have the sniffles like a cold. On the superbowl day I had some friends over and we all had perrier cuz it was a treat I could have too. (super yummy) It hasn't hurt my weight loss at all - not a daily occurance. I was just wondering does anyone else get gassy from it (in both ways)? Also I knew while detoxing I'd stink, but I swear I smell cigs coming out of my armpits today too!! I quit a few months back (I'm very proud!)Has anyone else smelled cigs coming out of your body during the fast (obviously past smokers only)?
