I was in very fast oxidation so my sodium and potassium levels were very high (sodium- 48, Potassium-54) My overall ratio was low - .89
For me it was about balancing them out more than raising them. I ate a low potassium diet for a good 3 months and upped my intake of Sea Salt . I still avoid foods that are very high in potassium (like spinach and bananas), but if I want to have a serving of winter squash or mushrooms I just make sure to salt it really well.
