I have had an enlarging thyroid the last several years and have been on Iodoral and having it monitored with urine tests. For a couple of years I have been having clay to white color stools intermittently. At first those were rare, then gradually more frequent but would go to normal for long periods of time. I did not pay much attention and did not associate it with the goiter. Last Summer the evacuation situation became more pronounced and my goiter got bigger. I went to an endocrinologist who told me I cannot digest fat and that I should: continue Iodoral, drink goat's milk, take ox bile, eat beet daily, drink water with Bragg's vinegar with meals, take a tsp liquid phosphatidylcholine per day, and get about $3000 of blood work done and come back. I absolutely cannot afford the bloodwork or to go back at this time. Can't find the raw goat milk so am using the pasteurized. It agrees with me MUCH better than cow milk did.
I am doing everything else the doc said but only recently started the phosphatidylcholine as I was afraid of it because it is made from soy. But as soon as I started it I got calmer and my goiter started slowly but noticeably getting smaller. I have also started lipase along with the ox bile before breakfast and dinner. The lipase seems to have added a helpful touch to what the bile/beet/vinegar were already doing to normalize evacuation process. When I started the phosphatidylcholine my very dry skin IMMEDIATELY got a little better. I know I need to go back to the doctor and am saving money for it. Meanwhile things seem better. Anybody got any ideas what is happening?
