Quick question for those who have suffered from bartholin cyst or abscess

I was wondering how long after the draining and swelling is done can I resume my sexua| activity? Also is there anything I'm doing or not doing that causes this problem? I have had three occurrences in the last few years and they have no particular pattern aside from the pain ans swelling. Thanks in advance for any Responses and any advice would be gladly appreciated as I realize I may have to deal with this for years to come because I refuse to have this gland removed. Tweet
