Interesting wording, response, so often we hear about conversion and creation of Ts but not so much about response..

The one thing that immediately jumps out is that Iodine is bound to all those animal fats.

Going back to the first year of this forum there should still be posts on animal fat's Iodine content.
Being haunted by boiler rooms telling us that body parts would fall off if we took a single drop of Lugol's we pretty much infiltrated any site that had ever used the word iodine.

I believe the PDF link pointed to the fact that we liked our bacon to have less Iodine since that makes the fat soft and less visually appealing..
