Re: Thyroid - hypertension link?
My endocrinologist teacher from school (we had two years of basic medicine in the homeopathic school) said something that always remembered for some reason;
something like "we know little to nothing about the endocrine system" Even I that had the extra education in it, I know nothing really."
"It is complex, probably one can find the answer of many common diseases within the endocrine glands"
I didnt know back then how right he was. Thyroid, adrenals, pineal, parathyroid, pancreas(!) run much of our health; and we / they, the docs know little to nothing about it.
Karolinska institutet in Sweden is very good btw.
What I see among my co-workers at my extra job (nurses, docs, of different kind); is that they have a thyroid not working optimal. what follow is low vit D (epidemic), high BP, high cholestrol, (yepp, of course), diabetes; several of them! And almost all of them use painkillers on a regular basis.
When I am asked to help, I dont know which end to start with!!
