fatty painful lump along spine

dear community,

hi :) ...i do understand that the only way to be sure what one is dealing with is to go to a doctor, but i am unable to,

so i am just asking for some suggestions as to what this could possibly be,
and any suggestions i can try to treat it

...i understand these are not diagnoses, and that any suggestions or recommendations are just based on the info i'm providing, not an exam, and are not doctor's advice...

that said...

_seven to ten_ years ago i had a small (maybe pea sized) lump along my spine, where (i'm female) the closure of my bra is.

then it started to grow to about half a golfball sized, fatty feeling (not sure if movable, i think MOVABLE), and got to be very painful.

i used this special soap, that had herbal ingredients, and massage nodules, and the lump seemed to completely vanish (even upon pressing really deeply, there seemed to be nothing anymore).

i might be wrong, but do NOT feel like this was a sebaceous cyst, because of the area (i feel like that would be more off to the side, to more active/oily areas),

and i don't feel like just soap could clear it up - the "soap" i used, i think it was more about the herbal ingredients in it, and the nodules...

now, about last year ...the lump came back. started small again,
and now again has blown up (i think the blow up/flare up happened over about 1 week or 2 weeks) to about half golfball sized and is very painful.

now, unfortunately, the soap i used last time, i dont think is available anymore,
and i have no idea what this lump could be...and how to treat it...

if anyone could offer their suggestion as to what, based on the symptoms, this sounds like, and anything i can do for it (i thought of ...castor oil packs? essential oils? some preparation to drain it?), i would be greatly appreciative... thank you very much
