Thanks! 25 days anti-depressive free (citalopam)

:D Indeed! I am currently.. Oh, about 25 days anti-depressive free, and there were some certainly iffy days, but being able to dream again.. totally worth it.

It was actually some chatter over the phone with a person who offers christian prayer for the ailing that pointed out that it could be the antidepressant messing with normal brainfunction... Plus there was the over-seretonin'd symptoms of muscles reacting too fast, confusion, etc. I had weaned down to half a citalopram tablet before stopping entirely, though. If anyone's going to try that, I reccommend it with a very gradual weaning and serious nutritional support.

And the holy spirit. can I emphasize that enough? A heart with hope and praise in it is a healing heart. A thankful heart is a healing heart. I am thankful I found this forum, I'm thankful my God has been so faithful throughout my whole life, I'm thankful for the counseling and changes of perspective and heart He's given me in prayer, daily life, and simply by learning from the believers around me.

From my perspective, Depression comes both from the body and the spirit. If a mind is trapped in a downwards spiral, there's a need for serious detox and liver-support, and for a completely new spirit from God's hand. Not quite a 'regeneration', but a new spirit that can live, breathe, stretch and wham it's agressors to the wall and command them to leave.

Anyways, good usually to provide a status update. I'm alive, chuggin' along, joint-popping all over the place thanks to detox and needing more methyl-group and chlorophyll foods. Look out, I'm going to reek of garlic salads and onion soup. :D
