Re: My Astral Experience
Since you've mentioned me and Rudo, here's my 2 cents.
In slang it's called chakra spinning. There are many methods to spin your chakras and increase their speed, which results in spiritual awakening. But there will be many obstacles too, as different people would be on different levels of their spiritual growth. Therefore, Rudolf Steiner cautioned against starting from any chakras below the heart chakra. It's easier to spin those lower ones, but a person can become too egoistic (in simple terms) if he doesn't open his heart chakra first.
That's why in the Western world people cannot use Eastern techniques for chakra spinning, like yogic breathing for instance. Eastern nations have different spiritual structure and applying their methods to others would be wrong. Yogic asanas are decent for general flexibility and strength of the physical body but not the breathing part (Pranayama).
So, according to Steiner, we should work on the heart chakra and those above it first.
You should not talk publicly about your methods used for chakra spinning, unless you are certain that it won't harm other people reading them, who might want to try it too.
Better safe than sorry, as always!
