Re: Does hypo get worse initially with iodone?
iodine is so essential that the lack of it causes many minor dysfunctions that the body gets in a habit of and must adjust. i truly think it takes years to fully cycle iodination to every cell and 7 seems like a good number.
but most of the adjustments are at first - the first day, the first week, the first month or three. getting cold from a temporary shut down of the thyroid happened to me the first time i took it.
i have observed and recounted many times now some basic principles of orthoiodosupplementation, one of which is that the stronger the reaction to the initial dose of iodine, the more it is indicated. once through the adjustment, EVERYTHING works better.
finally, since being
Iodine deficient all ones life, there is no way to know what being normal/healthy feels like. for that one must research and be convinced that
Iodine is the right thing and then go through the change and get the experience. for some there are few noticeable changes and for some it effects the body, the mind and the spirit in some very positive ways.
iodine is for life and a much better one at that.
