Re: Chronic finger, hand, wrist, arm, neck, shoulder pain

Hi Guys, I'm really glad i've found this site! I have had my Mirena for almost 8 years now; at first I thought this device was great!! For roughly 2 years now I have been starting to feel unwell and this last year I have visited the doctors a number of times because I feel like I'm falling apart, but I have to keep stopping myself and thinking that I am only 34, surely I should not be feeling this old, before this I rarely visited the doctor's office. I have been having a number of symptoms such as chest pains, with pains also down my left arm and tingling in my hand...of course you think it's your heart! I have been to the doc's over this and as a result have had a number of blood tests which came back normal an ECG which also came back normal and still i have persisted to have these pains...but i would say that some of this is being caused by anxiety! I also have a brain fog which worries me as I am a teacher and sometimes I can't remember simple things!! I have for a while wondered If the Mirena could be the cause of all these symptoms, now I'm definitely thinking It is most likely causing it!! I am going to call the docs first thing in the morning to have it removed...I'll keep you all posted! Thanks for listening!! Tweet
