Salt levels - can anyone help?

Hi,

I'm confused about salt levels with AF.
The confusion started after getting hair analysis results - showing i have 20% adrenal function and hypothyroid. No detoxing ability, deficiency across the board with minerals. Arsenic and aluminium showed up but not mercury - which showed up positive on a different provoked metals test.

I was surprised by the results as i always 'felt' HYPER (thyroid ad adrenal)....but i crashed from that years-long state about 4 months ago and feel sluggish on all levels.

Before getting the hair results i had taken many urine adrenal function tests. It showed everytime extreme HYPER function - as the test was based on sodium levels excreted in the urine. Showing a low level of less than 0.29% sodium.

So hence why i thought - okay im hyper.

Yet the hair analysis basically threw me right off course! Sodium levels low on that too.

Aldosterone production regulates sodium so i've learned....so if i'm HYPO adrenal...is it possible to have V Low cortisol production yet HIGH aldosterone levels? Hence why urine and hair analysis showing up low?

I'm consuming celtic Sea Salt like it's going out of fashion! (with every meal - i crave it!) What's happening to the salt in my system?

Excessive sweating is one of my major symptoms - and it's very 'uric' smelling, so i guess the body is pushing the salt out through the skin?

Despite knowing i need to consume water i find it very difficult to consume even 2 litres a day.

Drinking Sea Salt water (for AF) today made me feel kinda queasy...can anyone help enlighten me as to what could cause these conflicting results?

The only thing i can think of is my kidneys are holding the sodium back for some reason.

Thanks in advance :-)
