Magnesium Oil Burns

Hi there,
I'm new so excuse any ignorance I may reflect. I've tried googling for threads for things similar to my experience, no avail.

So, I have been using magnesium oil for the past 3 days on my patellar tendonitis. It was working really well and I was abl to walk several miles without any pain. It was much for flexible, and I swear crepitation seemed to be going away.

But yesterday I must have broke the camels back so to speak, and I suddenly had an intense burning on the skin surrounding my tendon(s). The burning didn't go away so I tried sleeping it off. The burning is gone, but now I'm left with lesion looking pimples on the area. It actually hurts more now than it did before. Everytime I walk, I can feel the burnt skin stretching I can't even describe how painful it is. I obviously took too much.

I will lay off the oil for a couple days, but has anyone experienced this sort of thing? The only thing I have is to apply vitamin E but I'm not sure if its helping because I don't want to clog up the already inflamed pores.

Thanks..
