An immunologist is another name for allergist, but regardless, they both focus on treatment of symptoms primarily.

The medical mentality seems more focused on "combat" of cancer rather than prevention and giving the body support to combat the cancer itself.

While there are some useful attributes to the current methodology of treatment, it is by far still stuck in the dark ages and dominated by "research funding" dogma. Once an infrastructure is in place, it's very difficult to remove or replace it.

It's like finding treatment and not preventing or curing is the mainstream, a form of cancer (current medicine) that grew out of control and the body (world) is defenseless against it.

I wish immunologists, as their name implies, did ramp up the immune system and practiced more than treatments.

Good thought provoking questions.
