The CS should work fine for your tooth infection though I'm thinking you're going to have to ramp things up if you want to do anything about it.

That being said, I've been taking CS daily to treat an underlying bone infection due to a root canal gone bad. And I've found that the only helpful method with CS has been that of a combination of ionic and metallic silver. Which consists of 1oz of ionic silver under the tongue and drinking 2oz of metallic silver afterward. Hold the ionic under the tongue for aprox. 3 mins. I do this three times per day aprox. 1/2 hour prior to eating so as to maximize absorption.

PS. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Hep-C etc. and so I'm afraid I can't offer any advice there. Though the protocol I mentioned hasn't given me any adverse reactions whatsoever.

Oh and one more thing. I found that the addition of a small infrared heater aimed on the side of my face really helps push the CS along. I've been using this one for about a year now and it's been a phenomenal help:
