Sandy Hook tragedy

It is so horrifying and sad and such a symptom of the evils of our world.

Trying to make sense of it ... looking for a reason why a person would do such a thing ... he was mentally ill ... had to be watched every minute ... ...had no friends ... family is wealthy ... he had 2 rooms, a bedroom and a computer room where he played video games ... a loner ... highly intelligent ... when younger, he would frequently withdraw into himself and sit staring at the ground at school and his mother would always come to the school to draw him out of it ... why his mother would expose such an unstable person to weapons - an assault rifle! - is beyond me. Perhaps she was in denial.

One has to ask ... what led to this mental illness where he was so highly disturbed? Did he tell anyone of his plans? Most of the school shooters have a history of taking anti-depressants, which alter their mental state. They go back to what they think is the source of their pain and that's where the shooting happens. Looking at his picture, he was so pale, it looks like he spent most of his time indoors on the computer.

Yes, it is so tragic and horrifying, what happened to these little children and their teachers. My heart goes out to the families.

The shooter apparently had Aspergers, a form of autism ... I wonder whether he had mercury poisoning. I wonder how many vaccines he had. But they say there is no known connection between autism/aspergers and violence.
