the teachers would first have to dump all their brainwashing that guns are inherently evil. then those who wanted to could be certified to do so. whats the big deal? youll let some green kid who cant shoot or balance his checkbook have a gun and car and patrol our streets. do you think they breed those guys special for that job or something? i would trust a 45 year old of any stripe over a 20 something cop.

you can bet your sweet patootie that principal was wishing she had a weapon when she was bum-rushing the guy spraying her with bullets. valorous, maybe. avoidable, absolutely.
