Re: How do you keep the weight on with low carb diets ?.

Sorry I can't help you out there. I don't think there really is any good healthy Diet that is low carb. Carbohydrates are your main source of energy and they are the only thing that can feed the good bacteria in your digestive tract. I understand where you are coming from, carbohydrates make you feel sick (I have been there myself) but this is NOT because they are bad for you, the problem is that your body is sick and out of balance and when you eat carbohydrates, you are feeding the bad bacteria and the good bacteria, and since you have so much bad bacteria (and probably candida) anytime you eat carbs, you are feeding them. At this point anything you put into your mouth is going to be toxic to you, even good healthy foods, but I really think going low carb is just going to make things worse. You can try it for a while and see how you feel, just keep in mind that the longer you go low carb, the less you will be able to digest carbohydrates when you add them back in.
