Re: How to make herbal lozenges/candies
The David Christopher colon health book shows you how to do similar with "laxatives" for kids using herbs in the kitchen.
This video? Da, his final product looked like something you would expect to see in the cow pasture...aka, could have done a little nicer job..
Slippery elm is one of the amazing herbs that can be used for so many different things, from extreme accidents in life saving to throat health and the greatest herb in stomach health and you can even live on the stuff.
In theory, this powder comes from a tree that was 10 years old and in today's standards? WHO KNOWS where this is collected.....because how many modern day people are going to prepare 10 years in advance..
Otherwise, yes, a dental formula could be made and I know a large group of amish that are seeking the amish dental market and competing with each other, so if I get some time, I will make a batch "my" way with full blown essential oils, best of herbs & minerals and try to make it taste good/sweet and give a local amish fellow a batch to try on his kids and who knows, maybe 1 day amish kids accross america will be sucking on such a thing.
Actually you even gave me a new idea, the calcium formula I have been throwing around this year and very close to blending can easily be used this way as well and could send such a dental method over the top for repairing cavities in kids, so who knows what I may give a try when I get time to "play"..............actually, I have wanted to for 15 years make this type of dry herbal pill, they sell a machine you drop this dough into that turns and presses out the perfect shaped pills that once dried should last for ever...but the machine is extremely expensive and something I will never spend for, but this simple method is something every amish mother can make in her kitchen, we would just have to show 1, that would show all the rest and naturally supply the with a simple "mixture" that they blend and the most important part, to make it taste like candy and repair tooth decay and yup, that actually could happen.
Have fun experimenting with your formula.
