Too me it makes sense. It seems that several disorders can be linked to several conditions..such as viral, fungal, and parasitic. Maybe the disorder produces environment for other condition to manifest...and infection could be caused by any one condition if it becomes established... which in turn creates a micro-environment suited for a friendly habitat for other condition.
