Vernon is pretty cool

I am a friend of Vernon. Me and my uncle used to drive to his farm to pick up raw milk on a regular basis. His raw milk is absolutely fantastic. The best I've ever had. The butter is incredible.

He's made some mistakes in his legal defense, specifically I think he should have consulted a lawyer instead of going it alone. But regardless, I think he has a right to sell raw milk and I have a right to buy it.

Vernon is a really interesting character. He was brought up Amish, but he and his family broke away from the strict Amish community rules and now they are kind of "semi-Amish". They still do most things the old-fashioned way, but they're willing to have modern amenities like credit card swiping technology in his store etc.
