thanks Chris. I feel convinced now that continuing the fast, and starting supplementation afterwards is the right way to proceed.

I'm assuming I've been prescribed D3 by my doctor- if not I'll buy my own.

I'd like to sunbath, as Shelton recommends, but as you say, there's no sun here in the UK for 5 months.
