Iodine helps increase your alkalinity and...

...you may need it anyway. (See Dr. David Brownstein vids & site about iodine deficiency problems in this country.)

I have hypothyroidism & thought Armour thyroid is massively more helpful than the Synthroid I used to take, still I had problems with low morning temp and drag & other thyroid symptoms so I decided to try adding iodine per some info on the web. I already was "painting" the bottoms of my feet with abt 1/4 tsp of iodine, but started pretty much covering the tops & bottoms of my feet with it, plus gave myself a wide "belt" of it on the tummy.

I also started taking kelp tablets at the same time for iodide, which I plan to replace with organic powdered kelp.

All this had no negative effects at all. I have felt much more energetic and focused. Much. Then I noticed my alkalinity had increased. When I added nascent iodine it went up even more.

There is no healthy substitute for fresh greens that also increase alkalinity, but I think iodine is a big help too.
