Dog with lyme disease

Ok our 13 year old dog has lyme disease. He is a shepard/st. bernard and weighs about 115 lbs. Our vet thinks it is time to put him down but we at least want to give him a chance. The vet doesn't think he will survive the treatment so we are going to try the Clarkia treatment. I have started him yesterday on it. I am slightly confused as to the dosage. Is it 20 drops a day (7 drops a day 3xs a day?). Also when should I start noticing a difference in him?
