Hello there. I've had the Mirena IUD since April 2009. Before I had it, I lost 50 lbs. I gained it all back and then some in 2 years. I have had horrible migraines too. I had bacterial vaginitis, which I had never had before. I have severe back pain as well, saw a chiropractor and thankfully he was able to help for a while. That was last Feb. I filed work comp at my job because I thought it was the cause. I didn't go thru with it. I have been on Genesis PURE products for over 6 months and even though I thought it was helping, it really wasn't. I figured I had a lot of toxins from all the meds from my migraines for 20+ years so it would just take a while. Then, not sure why, but I woke up this past Saturday and thought, I wonder if it's the IUD why I can't lose weight, why I'm fatigued all of the time, depressed, stressed, my hair falls out, which I have a lot to lose, all the symptoms, you name it, I have it. Very short tempered. One minute I would be happy go lucky, the next upset at the world! I told my husband Saturday and asked him to remove it since insurance, which we don't have, won't pay for it anyway. We choose not to have it, because we don't believe in prescribed meds even though he was a paramedic for 15 years, we have learned they are not here to make you healthy, but to keep you sick. Anyway, we both did some reading and I decided to try and remove it myself in the shower, and guess what? I did it! And it wasn't hard at all. You will need to squat down and feel as though you are having a bowel movement so you can reach back there and pull it out and it came out with ease. If I were you, I would try it. I felt relief instantly!!! I had a migraine and was on the 2nd day of it. Within a couple of hours, it was gone. My mood was perfect and I have so much energy now. I feel like a different person already. And it's only been 2 days! I am still taking the Genesis PURE products which is helping to detox and bring my body back to normal.
