Re: More on bible worship
Not in light of scripture.
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
The reproof part is where I am at.
Looking at the Greek and Aramaic the passages you reference mean sky (first heaven)
The greek word here (John 3) is more suited to the 3rd heaven translation.
I addressed some of the more common passages around elijah to make this case in another posting in this thread
you can find it

So once again the book says no one has ascended to heaven. (if they have then Jesus is a liar)
As far as idolatry, the bible is there for reproof. Yes some things were not recorded. Yet if they needed to be they would have. The book is the final authority for reproof as it says in the passage above. The reprove in regards to people saying they have been to heaven repeatedly does not add up in light of scripture.
As far as 2 Corinthians 12 Paul said it was a vision (He was shown things. He did not ascend to heaven).
5 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. 6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,
Apparently you do not approach this the same way Paul did. We know every time you "Cough cough" heal someone
The bible is here for this very purpose so when people say they do things and are inspired by the spirit to do so. We can check their work.
