Have you ever tried Iodine on the wounds?

Though I don't have wounds anymore, whenever I get a owie such as a scraped knee, it doesn't heal right because of the fibers in my body. 

I tried Nascent iodine and its causes the cuts/scraps to heal very fast and the fibers don't cause more issues.

I am not sure why this crap doesn't like iodine but I am glad it doesn't and I am using it internally as well.
