A pride of lions fighting over a hippo carcass in the Mara River, Kenya.



Our guide, who had 20 years experience working on the Mara, had never seen anything like it before. He thought the lions would have been scared of the crocs. They weren't. There were 6 male lions and 4 female lions at the sighting while we were there. We would have stayed all day, but we had to catch a flight that afternoon! Tweet
