i agree. i think that all of the different types is most likely could be from different causes. even different conditions completely. i feel lucky that i know what caused mine. many on here have no idea. which really stinks. i think ec may be more common than you say though. i dont think there is only 1000 cases worldwide. although it obviously is rare since only a few derms have seen it. but i agree with someone who said that the reason doctors do not take it seriously and research it is because there is not enough money to be made treating it.
