PLEASE Help, I have a bad toothache!!!!!!

I just saw the dentist last week, a very good dentist with lots of experience. She is great at safely taking out amalgam fillings and thats what I had done. I removed 3 amalgam fillings on my lower left side. The cavity's were deep and she said I would probably need a root canal in the next 6 months or so. I am not getting a root canal that is for sure. I had these teeth done 7 days ago, the first 2 days were tolerable and then just sensitivity which is what I expected. Now the pain is intolerable and hurts, this is my first toothache. Is it the root acting up? What can I do I am desperate and can't sleep. I tried oil pulling, magnetic pulsar (sota) and urine for the first time. Now the pain is going into my ear. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.
