Here's why

There is nothing wrong with us AS people, it is just that everybody else is a little slower than we are. Generally, we do not wish to insult them b/c we have work to do. So, being our brilliant selves, one of us invented the concept of "AS" to make all the rest of the people feel better and justify that we with AS are different. It doesn't bother us if the rest of the world thinks we're retards. lol.
